spreeeng is a cooperative design practice providing graphic design and creative research services to clients within the cultural sector. Our work ranges from books and exhibitions to experimental websites and visual identities.
In the field of design education, we explore situated design research methodologies, the role of positionality in graphic and editorial design and critical object-based learning. We provide curriculum design, development of teaching materials and organisation of workshops and lectures for a diverse range of institutions.
spreeeng intersects formal and alternative pedagogic environments as a group, or as part of the independent practices of its members. We are currently working at MA Graphic Design at Camberwell School of Art, BA Graphic Design at Kingston School of Art, and MA Graphic Media Design at London College of Communication. We also collaborate regularly with Instituto Europeo di Design, and organise alternative design education events.
